We’re looking for a talented and motivated WordPress Developer to join our growing team at Waventa Digital. This is a full-time on-site role where you’ll work on a variety of exciting web projects for clients around the world. You should be passionate about clean code, responsive design, and building high-performance WordPress websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
- Customize existing themes based on client requirements
- Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Optimize websites for speed and SEO
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues
- Collaborate with designers and project managers
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in WordPress development
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
- Ability to develop custom themes and plugins
- Understanding of version control (Git)
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willing to work full-time on-site in Uttara, Dhaka
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms
- Familiarity with headless WordPress or REST APIs
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
